It's not often that I go out of my way to leave a review on google - but thought it was important to highlight our experiences with Fletcher Broadbent when we came to purchasing our property. We paid £750 for a full building report and it was worth every penny. Chris Fretwell did our report in a timely and reliable fashion and we were provided with an in depth document that covered a number of issues relating to the property. Whilst this was great service, the reason I wanted to leave a review highlighting how good these guys are is largely down to the service we received after that. The report raised some points of concern with the alterations on the property and, not being sure exactly what the implications were, Chris was more than happy to talk me through them and advise on the best course of action. Ultimately, this gave us the transparency and understanding of exactly what we were about to purchase and how much we'd need to spend thereafter. We went on to purchase the property at the appropriate price taking into account the works that would need doing and, probably more importantly, with the peace of mind that Chris' expertise gave us.

Excellent and highly professional service! It was very easy to arrange a building survey for the house I was purchasing, and communication about it was timely and smooth. Chris, the surveyor, provided a very clear and detailed survey report with very helpful suggestions for action. He was very happy to discuss the results on the phone. I liked his direct and clear communication style. I would highly recommend his services.
