We are one of the first recycling companies operating in the North West, Bennett Bros was founded in 1948 by Francis William Bennett and Bernard Bennett, and remains a family-run business to this day. Bennett Bros was originally involved in loaning ponies to the many rag and bone men who collected unwanted household items and sold them to merchants, and while the recycling industry has now embraced modern technology, we are very proud of our heritage as innovators in what was then a new industry.

WoW!! I have seen the photos of the old place in Gorton Manchester. Think it was called Gordon J Bennett then, I delivered sheet metal though the little hatch by hand. I also remember having a whiskey with Mr Bennett at Christmas when I was a salesman to the company. If this is the same company (which I believe it is) they have been in the metals business a long time and these guys know prices if anything like their dad.

Bad experiences with this place 1st issue i weighed 900kg full iron safe got paid half of the price it should have been 2nd issue payment issues from this company and not in the slightest intrested 3rd issue the manager Tonys attitude needs sorting out as really bad Well Bennett Brothers Metal Recycling

Consistently pay the best price for scrap vehicles. Always turn up on time and get them shifted. Even the more difficult jobs. Have recommended them to plenty of others too who used to use the local big company who pay a lot less.
